These intricate floral crowns are actually a lot easier to make than you’d think, so why not try DIYing your very own for your baby shower, or just to wear while you’re washing the dishes – after all, you deserve a crown, you’re a mama!
What you’ll need:
- Blooms of your choice, including greenery and some statement florals. We used faux flowers as they're easier to work with and last forever!
- Floral tape
- Craft wire
- Scissors
Step 1: Measure your wire to fit the shape of your head. Secure the ends with floral tape.
Wind your greenery around your wire. Secure the ends with floral tape where needed. If you’re going for a fuller look, choose greenery with larger leaves or skip this step all together if you’d rather focus on florals.
Step 2: Prepare some mini floral bunches. Take approximately three blooms and affix their stems with floral tape.
Step 3: Take your mini floral bunches and attach them to your crown with floral tape or craft wire. Make sure you attach your blooms facing one direction and lay more blooms over the stems to create a fuller look. You can also add some statement pieces towards the end.
Step 4: Style your hair and arrange for the perfect look!
