Transition Dressing: Taking Your Bump from Winter to Spring

Transition Dressing: Taking Your Bump from Winter to Spring

While the temperature hardly dips below chilly in Australia, we’re still always glad to see the back of winter and welcome spring! We’re all for a new wardrobe when the seasons change, but you can easily make your wardrobe basics work season after season with a few simple tricks:

  1. Layer up – you can probably pack away that heavy coat (especially with the hot flushes that comes with pregnancy!) and swap it out for a light kimono that you can dress up or down. Layer it over prints and florals or dress up your more basic outfits to feel a little more put together.
  2. Florals are always in season! While Miranda Priestly scoffed at the idea of florals for spring, we’re here for pretty prints whatever the temperature. We’re loving lighter coloured prints as we transition into the warmer weather.
  3. Switch the boots for sneakers – ditch the tights and boots for casual sneakers with a denim jacket, perfect for brunching with bub! Try the Kara dress in a light colour, it’s the perfect work to casual staple.
  4. Swap the jeans for dresses – not only will you feel a spring in your step, they come in so many prints and patterns just perfect for the change of season.
