Easter's almost here and it's time to think about those all special Easter events that are just around the corner, most importantly the Easter Sunday brunch!
This has got to be one of my favourite holiday events. The weather's still great, the kids get so excited and the fact that no one judges you for eating chocolate for breakfast!
I tend to spend Easter Sunday with my immediate family but we always catch up with my husband's side for Easter brunch. My mother-in-law cooks and designs the prettiest table settings, we all wear something special and gift each other with way too many Easter eggs. It's also a great opportunity for us to take some family photos.
If you're pregnant, you can add to those all-important 'bump progress piccies' or if you've got a new baby, then it's a great opportunity to have some 'first family outing' snaps as well.
So now what to wear? You'll want to consider the weather - it's still quite warm at the moment in Queensland but cooling down in the mornings and I'm told Sydney and Melbourne are freezing! Generally it's fun to dress to theme at Easter and florals, soft colours with a celebratory feel work perfectly.
To help you make up your mind, I've thrown together some cute inspirational flatlays of the perfect outfits for Easter events.
If this dress doesn't scream Easter, we don't know what does. Featuring an on-trend floral print, the Harlow Wrap Dress in Blush Floral has been one of our best sellers over the last few months.
If it's a cold day, wear this dress with booties and a long line cardigan. Tan or metallics work great with this style. If it's a hot day then wear with open-toed booties or sandals.
Wear your hair up to show off the beautiful neckline and flutter sleeves.
Look, some girls are never going to be pink girls and that's totally fine. But before you go pulling out your black tights and hoodie, take a look at this cute understated look that's driving pregnant and nursing mummas crazy right now.
Featuring a black base with a rose ditsy print, our latest Luella Dress in Black Floral is our second choice for the perfect Easter brunch attire.
Styled here with some simple bracelets and a black kimono, this style is great for mummas who want to show off their shape a little more. The beauty of a dress with a black based dress? It can be easily styled with black or tan accessories and is traditionally a more slimming colour....which is probably why around 50% of my wardrobe is on the dark side!
My last, but not least look, is the Harper Stretch Wrap in Navy Floral. This print has been our most popular simply because of the amazing way it appears in photos and manage to flatter all complexions.
The three-quarter sleeves, higher neckline and stretchy fabric make it a real winter dress so certainly consider this if you're freezing down in the Southern states.
Play up the bohemian vibe of this dress with a felt hat and tan booties and float your way through a perfect morning.
